SAT and ACT Information

If you are considering taking the SAT or ACT in the fall, keep in mind the dates and registration deadline dates. You MUST register through your College Board account for the exams. It is important to plan your exam dates and take into consideration your college application deadlines. If you think you might apply Early Action or Early Decision, you should consider taking the SAT in August or October. Students are encouraged to take the SAT or ACT at least twice, generally once in the spring of your junior year and once in the fall of your senior year.

SAT and ACT EXAM DATES 2021

Students register for the SAT and/or ACT online. It is important to plan your exam dates and take into consideration your college application deadlines. Colleges receive the test scores approximately 10 days after the online release date to students. Please read the instructions and information on the SAT and ACT web-sites regarding their policies and procedures. Both sites offer free practice tests. Fee waivers are available from your counselor, for students who qualify. Although late registration deadline dates are posted, it is not recommended that you wait to register for these exams. Test sites can and do fill up from time to time.

The state SAT for juniors will be administered during the school day in the spring - the school will register the juniors for this exam.
